I just couldn’t type the recipe last night, many things to be done… Sorry if I let anyone wait for it:)
Okay, no more delays, here we go with the recipe;
Ingredients
- Four eggplants
- Four tomatoes
- 4-5 pieces of fresh-green peppers
- 10 pieces of shallot
- 6-7 pieces of garlic
For the meatballs
- 500gr minced beef (half fat)
- 1/3 glass of olive oil
- Some black peper and flaked red pepper
- Salt
For the sauce
- A table spoon of tomato paste
- Two glasses of hot water
- Salt
How to prepare and cook
Make slices of the eggplants like in the Picture, let them stay in salty water for half n hour.
Knead the beef, spices, olive oil and salt well, cover it with a cloth and let it stay in fridge for half n hour.
When you are over with the ‘half n hour’ waiting, get the beef out, wash the egplants well and be ready to make meatballs!
Make a queue of one eggplant one meatball and keep going like this with your own piece of art:)
Add
the tomatoes, shallot, peppers, garlic to anywhere in the cooking tray
up to your design(Chop them however you want, I just prefer bigger
pieces ).
Make the sauce by mixing well of tomato paste and hot water with salt, pour it onto the all other ingredients.
If you feel the sauce not enough because the tray is deep or big, then you may add some more of hot water!
Cover the tray with an aliminium folio well and get it in the owen with the heat of 200C.
Check
the meatballs and eggplant about 30-35 min later, take off the folio if
they got soft and cooked, let them cook a bit more, without folio, till
eggplants and meatballs get little bit of burn on top of them.
Bon Appetitte:)
