Yummy and Easy Mushroom Pie Recipe

Greetings my dear readers!

Wishing you all a great day, a warm home with love and peace!

I have made a mushroom pie yesterday for my pie-lover little boy and hubby:)

I've thought it would be a good idea to have something baked in these winter days..

Okeyy, let me start with the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 800gr mushroom
  • 1 Middle size onion
  • 2 red cape pepper
  • A handful of chopped dill
  • Spices (Black pepper, red chilli pepper, cumin, salt)
  • 2-3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1egg yolk and some black seeds
  • Half glass of milk and 1 tbsp of butter(glass size 200ml)
  • 3-4 pastry leaves (depends of how thick they are..I have used 4 coz mine was somehow thin a bit)
How to get it ready:
  • Chop onion and cape pepper, fry till they get soft enough with olive oil, put spices in and mix
  • Chop mushrooms and dill, add to the fried onion, let them cook till mushrooms get juicy
  • You will be having a mixture like this in the picture down

  • Grease your baking tray with butter, make one or two pastry leaf layer(one layer would be enough if you got a thick leaf), put mushroom mixture all over, repeat the same process once again to have the look below

  • Fold the leaves from the sides, spread egg yolk on the fold and scatter black seeds (see the pic. below)

  • Bake in 120 C till  it gets that nice baked color and smell
  • Boil milk and butter, pour all over the pie, let it observe well and serve hot!
Hope you all enjoy in my mushroom pie recipe :)
